Yuan You (Wander Afar) #1:
Following Wangzi Qiao for pleasure (line 54)
(00.00 to 00.47 in the recording)
--
Upset by worldly affairs, the narrator wished to wander in the universe. He visited a number of deities and immortals, including Wangzi Qiao, a famous immortal usually depicted in art riding on a crane while playing the sheng mouth organ. Following him perhaps means, like him, fleeing society, becoming a recluse and seeking immortality.
