As the narrator meets Ru Shou, deity of the Western Sky, he holds a comet as a banner and the Handle of the Big Dipper as a baton. He then travels on with Wen Zhang (deity of officials), the Rain God and the Thunder God. He looks down on his home, but decides to travel on.
