Xu Qiushan 徐秋山

Xu Qiushan (13th/14th c?),1 was a student and perhaps son of Xu Tianmin, carrying on the Xumen tradition of qin play. Xu Qiushan may also have been either the father or teacher of Xu Xiaoshan, or both. Qinshu Daquan, Folio 19 has an account of his going to Beijing at the beginning of the Yuan dynasty together with Ye Lanpo and Mao Minzhong.

Qinpu Zhengchuan connects him to several melodies

  1. Qingdu Yin (with Xu Tianmin)
  2. Qiao Ge (with Xu Xiaoshan)

Qinshu Daquan has a poem which mentions him. See

Folio 20B, #140
