Li Sao (Falling into Grief) #14:
By 白云立 Bai Yunli |
離騷圖 #14
(The shaman) Wu Xian gives his opinion (lines 279 & 285-300) |
(07.00 - 07.21 of the Li Sao recording)
Qu Yuan is not convinced, so he decides to ask another shaman, Wu Xian, who will be descending from heaven that evening with a host of other spirits. Wu Xian tries to encourage Qu Yuan by giving him examples of people selected by virtuous rulers, sometimes after a long search. Wu Xian then tells Qu Yuan to hurry, while he is still young and attractive.
