The biography of Zi Zhu2 in the Biographies of the Immortals says that he worked on Longmei Mountain for a Mr. Ning, and that Mr. Ning played the qin. However, there seems to be no further mention of Mr. Ning in other sources, such as Qin Shi or Qin Shi Bu.

子主者，楚語而細音，不知何所人也。詣江都王，自言「寧先生僱我作客，三百年不得作直，以為狂人也。」問先生所在，雲在龍眉山上。王遣吏將上龍眉山巔，見寧先生，毛身廣耳，被發鼓琴。主見之叩頭，吏致王命。先生曰：「此主吾比舍九世孫。且念汝家，當有暴死女子三人。勿預吾事！」語竟，大風發，吏走下山。比歸，宮中相殺三人。王遣三牲立祠焉。
子主挺年，理有所資。寧主祠秀，拊琴龍眉。
以道相符，當與訟微。匡事竭力，問昭我師。
