Zilu (542-480) was a nickname of 仲由 Zhong You.

A rather lengthy story here tells how Confucius could recognize Zilu's impetuosity from the way he played the qin and from the tunes he chose.

Two stories about Zilu from Kongzi Jiayu are related in Qinshu Daquan, Folio 16, #13. He is also discussed in Folio 16, #31

The melody list in Qin Shu (see QYYL, A, #63) says he wrote a Bei Bi Cao.3
