紐約琴家唐世璋，
尋師訪友琴故鄉。
先去洞庭觀秋色，
再登黃山西麓堂。

《秋鴻》漫彈朱權墓，
《幽蘭》香潤空文章。
千里追尋曲中意，
赤膽琴俠走四方。

潛心打譜二十載，
長洲月夜細思量。
而今聽君輕操縵，
勾踢挑抹音韻長。

琴音妙如天上來，
情到極致自吟唱：
「百里奚，五羊皮，」
《吊子期》，《鳳求凰》。

指如飛兔弦上躍，
心懷肅穆氣軒昂。
海外友人尚如此，
我輩琴子當自強！

The first twelve lines can be translated as follows,

New York qin master Tang Shizhang (John Thompson),
When looking for teachers sought friends in the qin's ancient homeland.
First he went to Dongting to observe the autumn colors,
Then he climbed Huangshan, with its Hall in the Western Foothills.

"Autumn Geese" he has leisurely played at Zhu Quan's grave,
His "Secluded Orchid" fragrance obviates the need for essays.
For thousands of miles he has sought out the meaning of the melodies,
A gallant qin partisan traveling the world.

With focus reconstructing music from about twenty handbooks,
On Cheung Chau island through moonlit nights he has thought it out in detail.
So now hearing this gentleman gently strumming silk,
All his strokes make the music richly resonate....

An alternate version has this for lines 5-8:

朱權墓前彈《秋鴻》，
孔家《杏壇》、《幽蘭》香。
千里追尋曲中意，
藍眼琴俠走四方。

In front of Zhu Quan's grave he has played "Autumn Geese",
The Confucian "Apricot Tree Forum" and "Secluded Orchid have fragrance.
For thousands of miles he has sought out the meaning of the melodies,
A blue-eyed qin partisan traveling the world.
