The version here is quite different from the Zhi Zhao Fei in Shen Qi Mi Pu, though the preface is the same, except as noted.
In addition, instead of ending with a reference to play the coda from the modal introduction, there is a coda which as written strangely centers on sol in spite of the piece being in la mode throughout. Zheyin's Wu Ye Ti also does this.
The preface mostly quotes the preface to Zhi Zhao Fei in Shen Qi Mi Pu. However, it begins
