By 白云立 Bai Yunli |
離騷圖 #8
Nü Xu admonishes him (lines 129-130) |
(03.44 - 04.11 of the Li Sao recording)
Having once again beautified himself, Qu Yuan decides to travel the world in search of a virtuous ruler. First he goes to see Nü Xu, often said to be his sister but perhaps instead the name of a shamaness or someone else. She tells him his idea is dangerous and foolish. Qu Yuan won't listen.
