08.06 - 08.51 on Shen Qi Mi Pu CD 6 #8 (in harmonics)
Title in Shen Qi Mi Pu (1425):
Creating character-like forms in the autumn sky
(寫破秋空 Xie Po Qiu Kong)
(Note that this is the title used in 1546 for its
Section 34.)
1546 Section 14
(遠落平沙 Yuan Luo Pingsha, as next) has none of the tablature the other versions have for Section 14: after its mistake in Section 13 (q.v.) it omits completely the present harmonic passage. For its Section 14 it largely has the tablature the others have for Section 15 (q.v.), and its tablature remains misaligned until Section 23.

1425 Section 14 has the same tablature as here except that two notes are missing from line 2. It is a passage in upper harmonics, presumably representing the geese flying high in the sky.
