Cheng Wang receives council from Zhou Gong3 |
After he came of age and took control of the government, Cheng Wang is said to have written a 神鳳之操 Holy Phoenix Lament (25211.391 and YFSJ p.832), also called 鳳凰來儀 Fenghuang Lai Yi. Several surviving handbooks have a melody of this title.
The account here does not mention Feng Lei Yin, sometimes associated with Cheng Wang and Zhou Gong but elsewhere said to be the same as a melody called 霹靂引 Pili Yin, attributed to Chu Shang Liang.
