See the Shang Mode introduction. Although this is a separate melody, it is related and seems modally the same.
After Shen Qi Mi Pu (1425), Old Shang Modal Preludes appear in handbooks dated 1546, 1561, 1623 and 1670, only the last one being the same as 1425. They are included in the chart under Shenpin Shang Yi.3
