Ye Mengde
- Qin Shi Xu #6 |
葉夢得 1
琴史續 #6 2 |
Ye Mengde (1077 - 1148), style name 少蘊 Shaoyun, nickname 石林 Shilin, was from Suzhou. A metropolitan scholar in 1135, he rose in office to be 崇信軍 marshall of worship (?). Xu Jian's Outline History 6a2 tells of his connection to the qin.
Some of his poetry connects to qin melodies. For example,
Qinshu Daquan has several writings by him that concern qin.
His biography in Qin Shi Xu begins as follows.
