The original Zuo Zhuan passage is as follows (the omitted section is in brackets):
The present commentary then closes with "晉侯重禮歸之,故有南音操", which says that Nanyin Cao is the name of a melody (i.e., not simply a style of music from Chu). The title is also included in some Song dynasty lists.
2798.294 also says Nanyin refers to Emperor Shun's 南風之歌 Song of Southern Winds.
